Disclosing your handle

I one time said Papasmerf. I was quickly hit in the head with a ham and thrown out!

Interesting how some give out their handle. You see, I look at it as using it as an intimidation hammer, I will explain. Mentioning you are a board member too me is giving a suggestion that if you do not make me happy I may write a poor review about you. In a way you are guaranteeing yourself good service and attempting to eliminate any ymmv risks. I maybe way off base on my thinking but I wouldn't be surprise if some ladies feel the same way.

You'll find that is more of a SOP on the (redboard) ter.b. Where members will be all over you if you say that you told the indy or agency your handle. It doesn't mean you'll get better service because you should be a gentleman regardless and choose ladies that will fulfill your requests, do your research and a negative review doesn't have to be a bad thing if it's done constructively and honestly.

Sometimes you just know who it is based on their conversation, or at the very least you know they know about the boards, meaning they are posting members/reviewers. A posted review will just confirm it. The member doesn't have to announce it prior or during the appointment, but I do know of cases where people claim to be a member, or a particular member specifically for generous extras or intimidations (as in give me a discount/free session or i will write a bad review to hi, i'm XYZ and I expect you to go above and beyond for me, because I am XYZ and I am more important than anyone else) lol.

Others, as shown, just do it because they like to interact with someone first, and it is a good way to jump start a session and/or avoid more intensive screening or reference requirements. Handles on review boards are often used for screening, so you don't have to provide full names, ID, or sp references. :)

Shouldn't really matter if you do or do not provide a handle if you aren't doing it in a threatening way. Guys on the other boards or who have issues with that should get over it, because their protests sound to me like they are guys who might be guilty of trying to do that with sps, (i.e threatening ways)

I suffer no paranoia about disclosing my board handle to an SP.

In most cases, I only book pay for play time with ladies I have met through the review boards. We banter in general threads, chat freely in PM and flirt plenty whenever we can. When I do get around to booking a date, there's already a basis of friendship and trust.

As a result I've had nothing but good times with great ladies.

I agree with Art Mann here. Conversing with the ladies on the board allows me to gain a better understanding of who they are and how they behave. This leads me to decide which ladies I would like to see and which I would like to steer clear of or at the very least pass on to Madman. Once you gain a good understanding of the lady it's easy to want to communicate using your board handle. This has served me well.

This is not without it's issues though. I had an escort contact me once to confirm an appointment with me. Someone had pretended to be "me" in booking an appointment. Really people?

And since I treat the ladies with utmost respect, I don't worry what they tell each other about me.

hmmmm....I'm under no illusion that escorts talk. I've often wondered what they say sometimes. And then the more I think about it the more I don't want to know. :biggrin2:

I can honestly say I've never had anyone reveal their handle to me in an intimidating manner.

I felt they did so to even the playing field so to speak. They have the advantage of my website, with it's bio page, etc., my extensive revie
ws and my online comments to garner a sense of who I am. All I have is an online form/a two minute conversation to help me garner a sense of who they are. By telling me their handle I can access their posts to see how they behave in general, giving me a better sense of who they are and even what they may like in the sack, given the nature of their comments. I only see this as a plus, not a negative, although surely not a prerequisite to booking, which may however change with C36.
