BOOO!, tried to see Tarantino's latest, but was all sold out by time I got to theatre!

Just came back from Django. A very bloody but very entertaining movie! The acting is superb by Di Caprio, Fox and Waltz.

Caught it Christmas Day, no problem getting a decent seat in the theatre.

As always, Quentin Tarantino is a helluva story-teller. It's a captivating yarn and time shoots by in a jiffy.

As always, Quentin Tarantino loves a visual blood bath. The death scenes are exaggerated but very effective.

As always, Samuel L. Jackson turns in a helluva performance, and so does leading man Jamie Fox.

One puzzler ... Django ("the D is silent") wears cool shades throughout most of the film. But sunglasses are a post World War I invention. Seems like an odd anachronism for a film set pre-Civil War.

Just some helpful advice to some sensitive viewers: If you find the N word offensive, or it makes you feel uncomfortable, you might want to take a pass on this film.

Having said that, I loved this film. 4.5 stars out of 5.

Thanks boys, I was thinking of catching this flick later today!!:good:

This movie shows us that we have come a long way and still have a long to go as a society. Did they have escorts back then? :don'twantto-see:/

What a great movie and had some great lines too. I didn't realize til almost the end it was Samuel L. Jackson. Great flick!

It certainly was no Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, or Reservoir Dogs. Dicaprio was great in it, and his performance was Oscar worthy...Samuel Jackson was also great, but the movie itself had a plot line a 2 year old could follow, and violence that did not add to the movie. A boring movie. Incidentally...I haven't heard the N word so many times since I listened to a gangsta rap song!

The N word is mentioned a couple hundred times. Joking, but yes, A LOT.

Samuel Jackson trolling a white interviewer, trying to make him say it :LMAO:

Another goof or errors I noticed in the film is near the beginning when Django and Dr. Schultz were sitting down having a beer and chatting, they drink some beer from the glass and I notice it's half full and cut to another shot in later the conversation the beer glasses are full to the rim again.

I didn't think it was that great. It's watchable and entertaining but it certainly doesn't live up to the sophistication of his other movie plots. I'm glad I didn't pay to watch it.

So essentially, some guy had to pay twice..for him and you..to watch a movie that was so-so at best? Women are so lucky. Or did you sneak in?

I am very lucky, but neither. I have special access at times due to my normal job.

That is called a continuity error and there were some major ones in Pulp Fiction.
