Do you believe in Ghosts?.

GHOSTS

GHOSTS

Who believes in ghosts? Last night I spent the night at a friends old, very old home. He swears it's haunted and a few times I thought I heard strange noises which had the hair on my neck, chest, back, legs, balls, feet, and hands standing on end. My wife was laughing at me all the way home this morning telling me we're probably taking a few back home with us. :SayWhat?:

not a question of if you believe in them

the bigger question is do they believe in you.

who is to say another plain of reality does not exist and sometimes we glimpse it

You never really know, maybe we live in a Matrix type environment.

that is a variation on you are the only person in existence and all others are imagined along with your life

been around for along time.

I remember exploring that concept in University and wondering that if I think I am, Therefore I am, then when would I need aspirin

My home is only 8 years old, the one last night was well over 100 and man you could feel the history around you.

Fuck it, I'm sleeping with a night light on tonight!

I used to live in a 100+ year old house in Arva, Ontario. I've lived in many places that creak, moan and groan as the temperature warms up/cools down and the parts expand and contract.

I do also believe in the supernatural/spiritual realm and the presence of it's inhabitants.

On one hand, science says there's so much yet left to discover. On the other, science is very quick to dismiss things they can't quantify, even when many people report having the same weird experience.

When it comes to ghosts, I think it has to do with psychic impression. The same way a rock stays warm after we've held it for a while, I think objects/places soak up emotional vibes: happiness, terror, despair, rage, calm, even arousal. The more impactful an event or long-term, same-feeling practice occured at a spot, the stronger the impression it will leave. It's why we find some places to be holy, even if they haven't been visited in a long time.

Yes, I believe specific locations and items can be the epicenter of supernatural activity. Some of the research I've read supports the theory that there are clearly defined territories where 'good' or 'evil' is the dominant force, and that there are powers and principalities that rule internationally, nationally and locally.

:gasp:

If you believe in them they will show up. If you don't they won't.

Well that is what my grandpa used to say.

Damn thought you were talking about the movie. Was looking for naked pictures of Demi.

Surely a dedicated hobbyist would not have hair on his balls? :)

The spirit world does exist. I believe they are trapped souls who feel they have yet to complete their mission in life. Dreamblade and Sarah, I agree with most of your comments as well. Guido, perhaps a smurf nightlight, I believe Walmart has some you can put to good use.

Mrs. Sarah if I were a ghost, I'd visit you at night and crawl into bed with you but only to spoon with you. :wink2:

that was a great movie! hey don't make front of me as i was just a kid when i saw it.
