Do you believe in Psychics?

If you are going to quote others have the class to give the person who wrote it credit.

Otherwise it is plagiarism and that means you are trying to take credit for another persons work.

You are telling me I have no class again?. Are you OK old man, you said it was too long and I said cause I got it from the internet. There is no crime to that is there (Just what Juan said)?. Before I start calling you names I will ask my handle to be cancelled here. I am not the type to swear and insult people like you.

Mods please delete my account here.

I truly believe that people who believe in this kind of thing are either from 2nd or 3 rd world country, also people who are not educated or people who just have to have the need to believe that there is something mysterious.

soooo does that mean you wholeheartedly believe? lol

(sorry, I just couldn't let that one go by! ZING gotcha).

Anyhow, the issue I have with Joe's quote is: I'm not fascinated in the least. I am SO not fascinated that one could say I couldn't give a rat's ass.

Communicate with the dead. Yeah ok, can they communicate with that steak sitting on your plate? Because it's dead, just like your dear old grandmother. There is NO difference.

A subject than has been discussed before but will repeat myself. There are things that happen that cannot be explained. Like your wife saying goodbye in your dreams before she passes away. Seeing someone in the corner of your eye but no one is there, when you know clearly there was for a warning or what so ever.

I won't continue because have noticed the new group that have come on board recently have a different way of thinking. Why I do not post much anymore. But there is something there that exists but cannot be explained.

Lou, I just read your profile. Too bad you stopped posting, you are a rare breed in this industry. What made you stop posting?.

See? Exactly what I was posting about earlier. YOU believe so it is unexplainable to you, but it is perfectly easy to explain by me.

Your wife saying goodbye in your dreams before she dies. Easy, you know she's dying, so when you found out she was dying, you could have had that same dream 200 times before, you just remember it now because it is significant.

Catching something out of the corner of your eye and turning to look and not seeing anything. Easy, your mind is playing tricks on you. Not "supernatural" in any way shape or form. Just like getting wasted on acid and seeing sound and hearing colours....it's just a mind trip.

A better way to explain it is:
Scientists at Johns Hopkins (I think it was) did a little experiment by hooking up a bunch of people to brain scanners then they had them do things like ride roller coasters. Then they had them sleep and taught them how to control their dreams (it is pretty easy to do actually). They found that brain wave activity is exactly the same during the real experience, and the dream. That means the imagined experience affects you exactly like a real experience. That means that the imagined image out of the corner of your eye is experienced as if it was real. Your brain is telling you they are both exactly the same.....

As for not posting much, just because there are people here who don't think exactly like you do only makes it a much more interesting place. How boring would life be if everyone thought exactly the same???

Well young man, you just proved my point. I do not know you nor will I judge you as you seem like a very intelligent man. But looking or viewing life in the logical and technical way per say is not the right path.

Science, technology plus the common sense is accurate but not always right. The subconscious mind (Remember Freud?, dreams are what has happened or will happen to you) does tricks to you. Can understand, but getting technical on a or some subjects that one cannot comprehend is the idealist cope out. My wife was sick for years and only had the dream(s) just before she passed away.

I am not going to sit here and make you believe what you already set your mind to believe it is. We can continue having back and forth discussions and debating what is real and what is spiritual but will get nowhere because one has to live it to understand. I have, but do respect your ideology way of thinking.

Have a good night, it is way pass my bed time. A pleasure to exchange intelligent topics with you. Till next time.

PS. John Hopkins had flaws on his analysis but that will be another day to discuss it.
