Piscataway, NY -- Urine trouble now. According to a new survey, at least four out of every 10 Americans pee while taking a shower.

According to a shower survey sponsored by VertiSpa, 42 percent urinate while bathing, certainly pissing off the 58 percent who don't.

That's not the only stat splashed from the shower study. The average shower is 101 degrees Fahrenheit and uses nearly 50 gallons of water.

-- 52 percent of Americans sing in the shower, with "Singin' In The Rain" being the top tune.

-- 53 percent of people shower in the morning, while 29 percent wait until evening.

-- Finally, the scariest stat of all: 7 percent of Americans claim they never bathe at all.

I've always considered bathing to be in a tub and being in a shower to be showering. Peeing in a tub is disgusting in your own shower - not so bad. It is sterile.

I guess I am in that 7%. I never take a bath, but I do shower everyday. I think there is a little terminology cross up here. I consider "bathing" as taking a bath. I wonder if this is what the survey is referring to?

I must admit that yes I have done this.

Also I had an ex who once told me that she used to do this on a regular basis.

Now this shocked me that a woman would do this. Can anyone else confirm this?
