Actually, that's how I choose people to remove from my Friend list. If they play farmville or any other stupid game, then I regret knowing them and delete them immediately.

Lots of my friends play it but I have absolutely no interest in farmville or other facebook games.

You can click something so you don't get the updates, you don't have to delete those friends.
