Years back, the dash cam was introduced and LE everywhere thought of it as a spot snitch.

Most felt the videos would be used as evidence against them and in some cases have been.

However an incident like this shows why LE has come to embrace the dash cam.

In fact now there are pilot programs where LE officers are wearing body cams.

It would be challenging to know your every move is being filmed while working, but so many incidents are captured by spectators with cameras now anyway, they might as well wear their own.
