Hello all!

TL;DR:
1. We’re doing research into the experiences of the clients of sex workers.
2. We want to hear your stories rather than rely on the stereotypes.
3. We would like to talk to you in-person or via the phone.
4. We will keep our talk with you confidential and we don’t need to know any identifying information about you.
5. If you’re interested, PM us here on the forum.

Sounds like an awesome idea. Once you get all your data how do you plan to help those from the industry?.

How do you get paid?.

We are not working with or funded by any type of law enforcement or government agency on this project.

I presume the Dean and the faculty know what you are doing. What were their thoughts when you brought it up?.

Hi

What have you found out so far from previous researches?.

I offer my services to the highest bidder.

How high does my IQ has to be?.

This is probably a good thing, especially with an election coming soon and maybe a change in government.

I am always leery of studies.

They often have hidden agendas and come disguised as desirable friend.

That is not to say this one is a wolf in sheep's clothing. But one must proceed with caution.

Sounds like a good thing. The more positive comments/experiences pointed towards our lifestyle the better. why not add your two cents, it may help change things for the better. Change starts with one person:)

Completely agree and if it's all kept confidential without a face to face meeting I don't see a problem with it.

In response to Fleury's question above:
We are both full-time academics - we are paid by the university and research is considered part of our job, in addition to teaching. We are given a small allotment of funds each year to cover research expenses and travel related to research. Other than that, we do it because we love it!

Hey Curly,

In case any of our members are wondering, SandTWLU asked for HUBGFE's permission to post the thread, and we agreed, after checking their credentials and reading a copy of the ethics application approval from WLU.

Thank you for your interest in the industry and good luck with your research!
