So I think everyone has had time to look at the results from the election and I was just wondering how people feel about it?
I think we are a now a country with three very big divisions and if the new Liberal leader does not pay attention he is going to cause a split in Canada.
I also think it is sad that the other parties did not put forth a leader or a campaign to challenge a very shaky liberal party and leader.
I think it is sad that our election turned into a really childish name calling mud slinging campaign rather than stand for your platform.
I think it is extremely sad that special interest groups like UNIONS were allowed to run ad campaigns supporting one political party
I think it is also sad that metro Toronto voted so strongly for Liberal
I wonder how long it is going to take for Justin to have a non-confidence vote and force another election which we need but should not have to endure
This time I hope the political parties put forth proper platforms with proper leaders and a truthful campaign.
This is a very sad time for Canada regardless of which party you support.

Very well put dude.

But I'd like to add, the effect the worlds fastest growing religion had on the outcome of the election.

No one in Alberta is happy with the results. I don’t agree with the crazy people who want Alberta to separate just because Trudeau won.

Doug Ford screwed Andrew Scheer over badly. Anger at Ford played a big role in voting in Metro Toronto.

The west wants to separate, because Mr. Dress Up sorta won the election.

Ford did not "screw Andrew Scheer over badly".
Ford was doing what he was elected to do, try to fix the province, that the Fiberals screwed over badly.

Anything Ford has done, is the result of far too many years of Fiberal lying and corruption.

If people don't understand that, they should not vote.

People who don't want a leader to actually lead a province or a country, simply should NOT vote.

I understand that this election had a record number of 1st time voters, 18 year old kids who are still living with mommy, have absolutely no clue what the realty is.
And are in no position to make an intelligent voting decision.
They are already being taken care of mommy, and expect the same from a government.

Plus, 113 ridings in Canada had the possibility of the worlds fastest growing religion, effecting the outcome.

If anybody thinks that is a good prospect, should not vote.

I agree with you on your points Robbie however I would like to hear how in the opinion of Fiddy that Ford screwed over Scheer? Perhaps you could post your answer on this maybe you see something that we don't. DILLIGAF

Agreed that Ford could have had a negative effect on possible Conservative votes.

But stating that "Ford screwed Andrew Scheer", implies that Fords actions were intended to "screw Andrew Scheer".

Ford did what he did, because he thought his actions were correct, nothing to do with Scheer.

Also, I would think Ford making himself invisible, would have lessened his possible negative effect on possible Conservative votes.

But once again, people who wanted Mr. Dress Up out, didn't vote for the Conservatives,... because they don't like what Ford did.Damn-Not too smart

I have two neighbors who are my favorite "professionals",...:biggrin2:,... teachers, who always vote for the Fiberals, but even they now wanted Selfie out, but who did they vote for,... wait for it, the Greens,... and these people are "educating" our children.

I agree with what your saying Robbie! I was looking for a response from Fiddy about the so called screwing of Scheer by Mr. Ford And I am so surprised to hear your outrage about teachers. ROFLMAO! After all they are so underpaid and overworked. DILLIGAF

Sorry 'bout that.
I would be interested in a response from Fiddy also.

Well I guess all the folks that voted for Mr. Dress-up are going to stay silent.
Maybe they are just still in shock over the election results.

They were Local elections in my area so the results are status quo.
Not exactly a surprise in New York State
