I've always found it hard to choose a "favourite" colour because it depends on what we're talking about. I tend to like bright colours, but not for myself to wear--I find I look best in blue, black or grey. I absolutely hate dressing in anything brown--when I think about it though, my Dad almost always wore brown (and no, I didn't hate him). I always wear a baseball-type cap when I go outside, and I tend to prefer those in the brighter colours, like red or blue. I don't like my hats to be black, white or grey.
Of the cars I have owned in my life, three of them have been fire engine red. I also had a green car, an orange car, a silver car, and my current car is bright blue. I would always choose a brighter coloured car (probably I'd prefer yellow or orange), but they are not usually available.
I absolutely love my current ATF lady when she dresses in yellow. I think she looks even sexier than she usually does when she's in yellow lingerie, or when she has yellow nail polish. But I recognize that it wouldn't work on all the ladies--everyone wouldn't look good in yellow so I'd never make it a "requirement" that everyone I see wear something yellow--probably you already know what works and doesn't work on you, and I'd probably agree.
So it's hard because so much depends on the context. I do tend to favour the brighter primary colours (red, blue, yellow) in everything other than my clothes so let's go with one of those as my "empowered" colour.
