Have any of you ever had a the double whammy mistake by distributors or any internet purchases?. Never has happened to me but heard that one man got a second TV send to him a week later and he kept them both and only paid for one.

Wanna share your stories?

I've done some shady price matches before when i knew someone working staples , once ordered a set of hard drives then changed my order to only 1 hard drive. i got 2 purolator packages a couple days later each having my exact order in it .

a couple mp3 players price matched at a future shop when dell messed up there website , so i pretty much got 2 for the price of one.

if you scout sites like redflagdeals every now and then there are really hot deals posted , but i noticed if you spend too much time on there you end up spending money on things you don't really need but buy due to a really hot deal.

I ordered three lockers from UNLINE in the US. Six were delivered and charged for three. I wasn't there when they arrived. Called them to tell them their mistake, they said they will send courier to pick them up. Been over a year and I still have six.

Ordered a desk from Pottery Barn. Told that I would have to pick it up from their warehouse.

Got a call the next day to go back to the store because they had one in stock. I take it home.

Two weeks later, I get a call from the warehouse asking when I would be coming by to pick up my order.

LOL, what did you tell them?.

I ordered a Viagra and Cialis pack online and they sent the order twice. Paid once...

When ordering through the Sears catalogue, if you change your mind they mail you back a refund cheque in a month or so no matter how you initially paid for it. I went into the Sears store near me to order and paid for the gym with cash (I hate credit cards and buying stuff I don't have the funds for). So when I was told they didn't have the product in stock and I'd need to cancel my order, I was furious that they wouldn't give me my money back right away. Their excuse was that the refund process is computer-controlled and they didn't want me getting my money back twice because that's what people like to do. I refused to leave until I got my way and they finally relented and gave me my cash back. Two months later, I got a cheque in the mail with the same refund amount. I tore it up, went in to the store and gave it back to them because I wanted to prove my point that I wasn't trying to scam anybody...I just wanted my gym when I wanted it :grrrrrr:
