Etobicoke break ins

There were 3 break-ins in Etobicoke last night in the Bloor st -Mill Rd area, luckily no one was hurt, but all 3 homes had either unlocked doors or windows. I didn't know people left still leave their doors and windows unlocked in the middle of the night in this day and age. :SayWhat?:

I live in the beaches and I admit we've been guilty of leaving our door open. I installed an alarm several years ago and have probably used it 2 times since. It's a habit I do need to get into before we become victims one day.
