Planning a 2 perhaps 3 week trip to visit galleries; perhaps starting in London and working my way through the channel and in to France, italy, Spain etc etc.

Looking to do this via car, train, staying in B & B's. Any info would help with here or in PM. Never done this before and has been on the bucket list since high school and never got the chance. Next summer will be the target.

I hear the Garfunkel is a great Art Gallery to visit.

Sounds like a great trip.....................Enjoy it.

@MalikaFantasy just got back from travelling around over there. Maybe she could give you some tips.

Don't bother with the Mona Lisa. The picture is so small you barely notice her smile.

Wait, what smile :NoNoNo:

Wonderful trip - not enough time sadly ;-).
My recos: Paris: Louvre and the d'Orsay. I preferred the d'Orsay. Both easy a day each - and that would be a skim. Bonus: Rodin Sculpture Garden.
Spain, Madrid: Prado - buy a bull fighting poster from the old dude on the way in - he'll custom print your name on the poster there. Also Madrid the Reina Sofia Museum. Picasso. Tons more.
London: Tons of museums; Vic Albert. a week, Imperial War Museum. Another week - well worth. National Maratime Museum - A month. Kidding aside - all enjoyable in a day. My best tour advice: Churchills War Room -build secretly, underground. Filled with fascinating stuff. Near Parliament and a bit off the track. This was where Churchill hunkered down when Britain, nearly lost WWII. Don't forget to add AirBNB to your options. Hope that helps.

Assman, who are you taking with you? Do you need a wingman??

Hit the major wineries in France. If you can get at least one of the five first growths would be worth the trip.

I've visited practically every museum in Europe...

London is the most important: British Museum, Science Museum, etc. Don't ignore Greenwich Royal Observatory and the nearby Maritime Museum. The War museum (close by) is good too.

Overlooked by most: Hamburg's Maritime Museum (probably the best such in the world); some of less-known museums in Italy, too, such as in Milan.

Ain't that the truth....

BTW, in London visit the City of London Museum. Fascinating. Munich and Hamburg have an excellent city museum as well...

Assguy, she wants to travel with you.

Don't blame me if she has a dick.
