Eva Longoria narrowly escaped an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on U.S. TV when her suit jacket popped open, revealing she had no shirt or bra underneath.

The Desperate Housewives star sat down for a chat with talk show host David Letterman on Wednesday to discuss her new cookbook, Eva's Kitchen, but she was left struggling to cover up when a button on her top came loose.

It took several minutes before Longoria realized she was flashing more flesh than intended, prompting her to pull the garment together as she gasped, "Oh, my button! I'm sorry. You didn't see anything. Oh my God!"

Earlier Letterman had remarked on the actress' racy attire when she said she had donned a tuxedo for the interview, telling her: "That's only part of a tuxedo."

She's hot but I really don't get all the fuss....she really doesn't do it for me....I dunno, it's something about her face......IMO there's a LOT better looking women out there...

Oh, and 9 yrs of desparate housewives? Oh, wait, let me guess, someone dies, someone gets pissed off, and terry hatcher gets locked out of her house at least ONCE per season...

(I stopped watching it the second, or the third time something like that happened).
