Facebook jealousy

So I'm involved in this current affairs discussion group on Facebook. We talk about politics, world affairs, etc., etc. In one discussion, I noticed a woman with a name similar to mine had replied to me. So I got curious, and started a conversation with her. It turned out that she's an Asian escort working in Australia!

Now being as she is someone who lives in Australia, and the fact that I met her on a current affairs group, there's no real chance that I'm ever going to meet her in person, so I decided to Friend her using my actual FB profile. Normally, I would use my secret hobby profile, but that's not necessary here, since I have no chance of hooking up with her. Somehow, as soon as I Friended her, a notification went up in public, and my wife noticed! Holy crap, she looked up her profile and flew into a jealous rage. I tried explaining that she's just someone on the news group, but the wife was having none of that! So while my wife was watching over my shoulder, I had to go through my FB history and find the discussions where this Australian woman posted to me, and prove to her that she was who I said she was! The wife calmed down after that, but not after sending a nasty message to this Australian woman.

Holy fuck Facebook, is there anything more you can do to destroy our privacy? I didn't even know that FB was doing this, so I looked it up and found a hidden setting that turned off this behaviour. Thanks a lot, and fuck you Fecesbook!

Nice! She shows a lot of skin for a personal FB page! Reminds me I have to go through mine to check settings. I get way too many notifications about shit from 'friends' that I don't care to see. What is up with some people always taking pics of their food and posting it?

That's why I'd never go on Facebook as too little attention to privacy. I guess you didn't get laid that night!! Problem now is that she might be watching you more closely for a while, as women don't forget easily and suspicion lingers.

From the wife? That ship has sailed a long time ago. Actually the blow up happened soon after waking up from sleep. We had just gotten up, and I went to my computer in another room, and she stayed in bed doing Facebook from her phone.

But interestingly, after I proved to her that I just knew her from a news group, she calmed down right away. We even went out for breakfast later! She was nice and calm, and stayed nice for the rest of the day. She was just going crazy during those moments where I couldn't find my Facebook history to prove it to her.

Oh yeah, she's a high-end cultural girl. She even plays cello!

Though the wife doesn't know this, another reason she's got nothing to worry about is because I don't pay that much for any girl, both on principle and financial grounds. I don't care how well you play the cello. :LMAO:

I actually didn't notice her FB profile fully until later, I was mainly talking to her through my phone FB app, and accepted a Friend request through the phone.

Funny, I almost forgot of a similar thing a few years back, only this was an SP I have seen. I had a secondary FB profile I had created for a radio station contest a few years back, it was something about the Rideau Canal. A good way for a non-native to learn about local history. I forget if Shanghai May found me or exactly how it came about that we ended up friends on that profile. May was a regular visitor to Ottawa for a while. I think it may have happened when I was working around Montreal in 2013, I saw May when I was there even though she had "retired" .... she is mamasan at an AMP now. We spent a steamy hour at her apartment. I stopped using that profile, I had a couple other retired SP on it as well. May found my regular profile and sent friend request. As I confirmed her I was thinking "this is a bad idea". To be honest May has been super cool and discreet and liked some of my posts and I liked some of hers, we traded PMs there as well. One day my wife asks "who is this pretty asian FB friend?". I made up some BS story about her being a customer and wife accepted it and never mentioned her again. Guess that was better than saying "she was a prostitute I used to fuck and now she runs a whorehouse in Montreal".... LOL
