Family Day and the Hobby

I spent the entire day so far with Ida. We came home and now she's off for a run and later this evening we will be heading out for a very nice dinner with extended family. I'm curious if some here prefer to spend family day with a pay for play provider or with their loved ones?

Anto, there is no catch. It's a simple question. Do you spend family day with a stranger for hire or family? Albeit, the stranger may not be so much of a stranger as I know some see their provider of choice on numerous occasion.

Last week was Family Day in BC, this week it's family day in Ontario and a few other provinces.

I spent the day painting my friend's condo. I hate painting but it's ok if you're helping out. Perhaps I should take care of my own house.

YOu should have told me as I was there last year. It would have been nice ....i.e. staying at your house and being served by your maid. I hope she doesn't mind that I haven't found the key to the Technique.
