I've done Portland to LA as well as the Denver to LA (via Phoenix). Both were about a 1000 miles. Just stopping for gas and to take a piss.

I did Ottawa to Houma, Lousiana, every two weeks for almost a year. Mostly one long drive although I did sometimes stop near Atlanta. I was younger then, though! :biggrin2:

18hrs from T.O. to Myrtle Beach SC on a rigid Sportster. Stopped in a Lynchburg VA truckstop and was told I should get a haircut, perfect name for that town.

I've done more than my share of driving. Used to commute Toronto to Boston, bi-weekly for a while. I've driven through 48 states.
Longest without sleep would be either Toronto to Cheyenne WY, or Tampa FL to Toronto. That trip was bad. Left Florida after brunch New Year's Day, hit snow in Kentucky, kept going, and the storm followed me. Hit Toronto about 10 pm the next day, so a little over 30 hrs. That was the storm when mayor Mel called out the Army.
