Favorite Movie Genre?

Seriously though, I'm a big time movie buff... Have over 1200 films in my personal library! I like a good action flick, a good comedy, a good drama, Sci-fi, mystery, pretty much anything that has a good story. Sometimes a silly comedy fits the bill too when I need to shut the brain off for a few hours.

About the only kinda film genre I don't watch is Horror flicks. Really have no use for them what-so-ever.

I'd watch Sci-fi if I was stuck on a desert island with a TV and a DVD player, but I'd really miss the movies of Akira Kurasawa and John Ford....

Like CG, I enjoy most genres if the story is good. That includes foreign and subtitled movies.

All time favorite, though, if I had to pick, would be the apocalyptic disaster type flicks, they are a visual feast and easy to watch. No. Need. To. Think.
