FBI captures most-wanted mobster 'Whitey' Bulger

Wanted for his alleged role in 19 murders, Bulger had been one of the top-10 most wanted men in the United States up until his capture. There was a long-standing $2-million reward in place for information leading to his arrest.

This guy was an informant for years to the FBI.

He most likely has all kinds of info on corruption on both sides of the law.

This could get very embarrassing for the FBI in the long haul.

Mr. Whitey Bulger knows where all the bodies are buried. He is 82 and he started criminal activities in 1943.

Mr.Whitey's Bulger's flesh and blood murder victims have been exposed and dug up, long ago.
The Feds grabbed him. Will Mr. Whitey Bulger rat and squeal on all the people who helped him evade the law for 14 years?

Or will he play the dementia card? Someone with dementia does not take tons of notes in court.

I live outside Boston, and this morning in the market I saw a guy wearing a "Free Whitey" tshirt. I can see how evading capture for all those years could make a guy a legend, but some people seem to have forgotten why he was on the run in the first place.

I agree with Maurice, this could become a huge embarrassment for the FBI.

The fact that he was an informant for the fbi probably did help. I wonder if his brother Senate President William Bulger had a helping hand in this too? Every body seems to forget this fact! Can you say investigation!
