I hope this is fake news. Sure kiddie porn is bad and needs to be stopped. But invasion of privacy is bad to. Two wrongs don't make a right. What else are the geeks doing when they're going thru your computer? Identity theft? Blackmail? And in the case of the oncologist, whose hard drive contained alleged kiddie porn in an inaccessible place on the hard drive...yeah it could mean encryption, but it could also mean previously deleted files from a previous owner. You want to stop kiddie porn? Go after the creators and distributors of that garbage. Oh can't find them cause they're in another country? Too bad. That's why you earn the big bucks. Figure it out.
