Anyone know if the Cons were decimated in the bi elections??

I know for sure they won't with Spadina downtown but would also like to see them blown out in Agincourt, anyone know the results yet??

They won their seat again in Alberta which is no surprise but in Agincourt the Liberals are in the lead and in Trinity Spadina Adam Vaughan should walk away with it and if not him it will be the NDP candidate.

The Federal Conservatives are done because they have lost Ontario with their stupid draconian bill which will kill their plans of a future majority.

It's official Agincourt is now Liberal and so far Adam is in a very strong lead in Trinity Spadina.

Whitby riding is not being contested yet because it was Jim Flaherty's riding. This is the one I think would be a big slap in the conservatives face if it goes liberal!:Praying:

I think you mean byelections. Bi-elections would be something else :biggrin2:

Toronto (Home of Democracy and Freedom) = 2 Liberals wins

Alberta (Adolf Harper's Home) = 2 Blue Taliban wins, no surprise.

Looks like the Liberals are back in Toronto and hopefully the rest of Ontario and if that's the case, chances are we"ll have a new PM.

The Conservatives held both their seats but did so while fending off a Liberal surge in Fort McMurray-Athabasca and seeing their vote share decline in all four races.

I really hope Harper can smell the demise he's going to be facing in 2015 because of his stupid back to the stone ages policies.

Good news but can we trust Justin and the Liberals on Bill-36, have the Libs come out publicly against the bill??

Talk is cheap...action is different. We'll see. I have hopes for Justin, but if he lets me down on 36, well, the Liberals will lose my support. Bet they are worried :-Cool/"

That reflects my worries about politics in general. Is it really going to be any better if some other party is voted in? It seems like they all (politicians) just pull the same crap and in the end, we all get screwed.

If Liberals can't do better then we vote them out, just like we will do to the Conservatives. Besides, everything was fine (mind you the Liberals did not touch the prostitution law) until Harper took over and introduced Bill C-36. At least we'll have the satisfaction, Harper will no longer be PM. Also, consider Bill C-36 just the tip of the iceberg of the hidden aganda of what Conservatives are really after givin that Harper is a control freak. Another 4 years of Harper and majority government, expect ban on porn, ban on same sex marriages and eventually ban on abortion. These are social/moral conservatives and not the fiscal Tories of old.
