They are still working on it from what I have heard. During the Stampede they usually have a bunch of concerts in the 'Dome but the entire arena was closed for Stampede, so The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, KISS, Carly Rae Jepsen, and a few other acts had to be canceled.

They also reported on the news a few days after the flooding, that they had a plan in place whereas, if they thought they couldn't get the Saddledome ready in time for hockey to start, that the Flames would play their home games in Edmonton, until everything was ready here lol. Now that would have been pretty interesting for sure.

If that happened in Ottawa, the Sens might play their home games in Montreal rather than Toronto, being only like an hour away. Either way, it wouldn't be good.
