My job is seasonal and make good money during it. Somehow my part time winter jobs are drying out and can't get one. The snow removal one that I had for the lost 4 years told me they will only pay me per the hours I work and won't sign me to a contract .

Snow is not a sure thing anymore.

Who to blame?.

Mad Man is at fault

I do feel bad for you, it must be tough during the winter months unless of course we do get snow as we did in previous years. You can try and blame the weather man but this will not get you far. Maybe a job for the winter months in a service environment i.e. waiter, clerk etc.

Why I tell my kids to finish their education. Indeed, it's tough out there.

The unfortunate truth is that many educated young folks coming out not being able to find a job. An education is important but before one chooses their University program it's important to select one which will lead to employment or is in demand by employers.

That's no guarantee unless they're in a professional capacity that is needed. No sense in taking psychology or sociology and expect to become a doctor or engineer.

Let's face it, it's tougher and tougher by the day.

Pooldude, you should consider an apprenticeship in a trade. My understanding plumbing is the best one to be in these days.

This is where women have the advantage. If things are slow, they just rent out their pussy -- full time or part time. :))
