You sure you would be laughing or taking a 2X4 out and redesigning Ford hood ornament?:he:
Yeah, I'd laugh because of who he is.....and I don't get upset about things like that, really. I remember not long ago I was going up the DVP at the 401 and a prima donna in a jaguar was getting on at york mills. I was in the correct lane to go onto the 401 ramp I wanted to and he wanted to get over 2 lanes. He was right beside me. He started swaying into my lane trying to force me to move over and when I didn't, he blasted his horn and gave me the finger.
I just laughed at him due to the audacity. He thought no one else had any right to be there that we all should just abide by HIS desire or need to get somewhere. I couldn't move over else I'd miss the exit, I couldn't slow down because there were 50 cars bumper to bumper behind me but there was plenty of room in front of me, all he had to do was use some of that jaguar HP and merge correctly with traffic.....
As for his bumbling, I haven't been following toronto politics much but I have yet to see anything that doesn't have some merit. Maybe he's going a little far in some of his budgetary cuts/ideas but if I was in the city, I'd much rather see too many cuts than have yet another tax increase.......or pandering to the unions. I head an ad the other day from the city unions bitching about his cuts or privatization of some services.....
Does anyone remember the garbage strike and how miller handled it? Not only did the workers not lose a dime for being on strike but they were paid overtime to clean up the mess they created......
Or how about the clause in the union CBA where it states that the city can use subs wherever they want as long as they pay them the current union rate. What idiot signed THAT contract???? (and I wonder how much money made it's way into their pocket for doing it).
