How bad it can get? Christ!!!! I saw a old guy in wheelchair with almost a "life support unit" front of the slot machines last night!!

Drinking, gambling, Sp's, massages are all addictions my friend. Some can control the urge while others get consumed by it.

Do you think that he's addicted or getting some recreation?

If you are going to casino while you are having your last few days on earth, that is a one hell of an addiction.

Explain please.

Perhaps he has no family, and this is something he can do outside of his home, or the hospital, or old age home.
If he's not starving because he's playing the slots, and is paying his bills, God bless him, and I hope he hits the jackpot !

He can do some other usefull things instead of gambling. That is addiction at high level.

Excuse me ?

It's that man's life, he gets to choose how he lives it, and to decide what brings him happiness, not you.

Who are you to say he has not been a productive member of society for his entire working life, and he just happens to enjoy playing the slots for fun, and maybe to make a little money (or lose a little).

What should he be doing that is more productive ?

Shoveling your sidewalk ?

What should he be doing, training for the marathon ?:roll::roll::neutral:

I was once accused of having a gambling addiction. (I don't gamble unless the lottery is over 10 million)
My accuser told friends of mine that he saw me there every day for a month.
:shock::shock::shock::shock:

I'm not saying whether he is or isn't addicted to gambling.
I am saying it is his right to be there.

Hell, you were there, does that make you a gambling addict ?

The man is in a wheelchair, with some sort of breathing assistance it would seem. Why should that determine if he can or cannot gamble ?

Live and let live. As long as he\she is not hurting anyone who cares what one does. Life is short, do whatever gives you some kicks while you're here.

We should encourage the government exploitation of their addictions, they're paying for my quality of life.
