ummmm why? The report was only three weeks from the time it was requested until it was released...and ffs, there's been all kinds of reports about how crappy the shape is, I mean, I bet there's at least one, possibly more threads on THIS site discussed the various news stories about it crumbling.

Heck, there have been artist's renderings of what the harbourfront would look like without the gardiner......

What's that got to do with "discovering" that it is falling apart? It's been falling apart for at least the past 15 yrs.....the topic comes up about once every couple of years so why is anyone suprised or shocked this time?

And, for the record, I drove over and under the gardiner everyday for about...oh....20 yrs......so
