Georgia couple loses custody of son after giving him marijuana to treat seizures

There is some evidence that TCH can help with Seizures....However not everyone in the medical community is convinced.

With that said Were I the judge in this case I would order an immediate examination of the boy to determine the viability of a THC treatment in his case..........Should it be prescribed the charges would be reduced to simple possession and the parents placed on probation for a period of not less than 3 years...With mandatory weekly and on demand drug tests......Should either or both parent test positive it would result in an automatic 180 days jail term.

You just cannot educate the uneducated. Their IQ won't allow it.

Isn't this enough for the gov. to turn a blind eye?.

The Brills say their 15-year-old son David went from having up to 10 seizures a day to being seizure free for 71 days after he began smoking marijuana, reports CBS News' Omar VIllafranca. The couple said he's never gone that long without a seizure before.

Lets get stoned son

Lets get stoned son

It doesn't have to be smoked, for any possible benefits.

They are simply pot head parents, who will do more harm to the kid in the long run.

Do not blame the parents for the fact that they wanted to help their child. It is necessary to understand the situation and find out whether there were medical indications for the child in the use of marijuana. This is important because there are cases when marijuana really becomes a medicine. But for this you need to use pure weed without impurities. I use it to treat seizures and understand the child's parents. But I have medical prescriptions and I order cannabis legally and track it with parsl.co. I have legal grounds to use it.

As has been stated here, the parents are simply STUPID POT HEADS, and are stupidly trying to justify what they are.
Has NOTHING to do with helping their kid, who may have this issue because the mother was doing dope when she was pregnant with the child.

It's been a while since your post, but I wanted to offer some insight. That's really troubling to hear about the Georgia couple. As someone who uses CBD products for my own needs and grows them myself, it's important to approach such treatments with caution and legality in mind.
