Wouldn't him defacing the Koran in of itself "To improve the case against her" be considered blasphemy and therefore will he be subjected to the same treatment and therefore punishment proposed for her?
...and what about your speedo?? Isn't it a security issue too? :biggrin2:
Today I was driving on Burnhamthorpe and beside me was a woman driving wearing a full Burka. Is it only me but should this be illegal here in Canada?
It would be easy since obviously this is legal here for a criminal to dawn a burka and a cop can pull up right beside them and they wouldn't know the difference. I think it should be made clear, you come to Canada burka's will not be allowed, call me a racist if you like but it's an issue of security.
A Christian girl in Pakistan who was arrested on blasphemy charges has been released from prison in Rawalpindi, a minister has said.
On Friday a judge ordered her release and set bail at about $10,500 (£6,200).
The girl, thought to be 14 years old but with a younger mental age, was arrested last month after a mob accused her of burning pages of the Koran.
Last week an imam was remanded in custody, accused of planting burned pages of the Koran in the girl's bag.
The case against the girl, known as Rishma, has sparked international alarm and has been condemned by human rights groups.
