GF's birthday is coming. I want it to be special, everybody does want their birthdays special right? So aside from flowers, chocolates, fancy restaurant surprise. Are there any other advices you might want to share?

It's hard to offer advice without knowing anything about her.

Is there anything she's admired or commented on lately? One of the best presents I ever got was an inexpensive item I noticed walking through a store...he went back, bought it, and surprised me with it. The effort meant a lot.

Is there something she would like to do that you haven't done because you didn't want to? Maybe you could go do that. With a big smile on your face, even if it totally sucks.

Buy something that matches her eyes, then tell her you noticed it because it reminded you of how pretty her eyes are. Obviously, the success of this particular gift depends completely on getting the color right. :tongue:

Is there a charitable cause about which she feels strongly? Make a huge donation in her name.

Do you have a lot of pics of the two of you? Digital frame full of them. Or a nice print of a moment when you were both having fun, in a kickass frame.

Is there someone she loves who she doesn't get to see? Arrange a surprise visit. Bonus points if that person is someone you can't stand.
