Section 219 of the Criminal Code of Canada, 1914:

[Carnally knowing idiots.]
219. Every one is guilty of an indictable offense and liable to four years’ imprisonment who unlawfully and carnally knows, or attempts to have unlawful carnal knowledge of, any female idiot or imbecile, insane or deaf and dumb woman or girl, under circumstances which do not amount to rape but where the offender knew or had good reason to believe, at the time of the offense, that the woman or girl was an idiot, or imbecile, or insane or deaf and dumb. 63-64 V., c. 46, s. 3.

FYI: in this context, 'dumb' means incapable of speaking, or mute.

The law was not applied to men who met one or more of those criteria, probably because most of them wouldn't have been able to get any from someone who did not also meet at least one of those criteria, and few of them would have been able to hang onto enough money long enough to ever be able to pay for it.

A deaf mute woman would literally be unable to say "No!".

I'm sure more than a few married men throughout history would have considered it a bonus if their wife was deaf and dumb, particularly when they came home drunk at 5 AM.
