A couple bucks a day for your morning a coffee may not seem like a lot. And it really isn't after all.
It may be just loose change you have hanging around that you pass on to the barista every morning. Or maybe you use a preloaded card and you don't even have to hand out any money.
But wait! Have you stopped to add up what you are spending over the course of a month? Or a year?

I buy Tim Horton's coffee at the grocery store and make it at home, but because I use a fairly expensive sugar substitute (Stevia), and double cream, it costs about $1 per day to make 2-3 cups.

I have a very fancy automatic coffee maker, bought for a previous girlfriend who loved coffee. It now sits mostly idle, except when guests arrive or I feel like the occasional mug. The device in question cost about $5K with taxes, so I'm down to about $250 a cup now!

Mostly I drink tea, and that's much cheaper than coffee!
