But from a distance and without emotion, you can say that accidents happen.

Well....you could, until it's your son or daughter.It's easy to speak wisely and courageously about things happening by accident when it is happening to someone else.When it happens to our own loved ones, then we want someone held accountable, and that is human nature

I wasn't saying that nobody should be held accountable. I was trying to point out that there isn't always evil intent when these things happen. There's no way to prevent absolutely all of them from occurring. So, hold those responsible accountable but we don't always have to try and find some kind of darkness in every accident.

My issue is that too many times lately, people try to use these tragedies to try to force their political agendas on people or industries. You should get that....I mean, should all "fighting dog breeds" be banned because a few have injured or killed children?

I wasn't inferring that you were, I was simply pointing out how most of us react when something happens to our own and when something happens to someone else. When we want someone held accountable it isn't necessarily about finding "darkness", or having thoughts that it was done on purpose, or with evil intent. Holding someone accountable is a type of assurance the "mistake" or "accident" won't happen again. It's not a guarantee of course, but in general, those penalized, fined, sued, or however they're held accountable, tend to make sure accidents are less likely to happen.
I'm not sure why in every discussion you have to compare the issue at hand with an animal issue, lol, I have many other things I'm passionate and defensive about, want to guess what they are:wink2:
