That statement is so incorrect that you can't even be taken seriously.

One big issue with the people calling for gun control is that they generally don't have their facts straight. The AR looks like a military weapon but it isn't one. There are plenty of rifles that can do the same thing as an AR but most people would just call hunting rifles and leave them off any ban. In the face of this ignorance (lack of knowledge, not stupidity) they just call for a ban on all assault rifles.

Another big issue is that the media is not being honest. Look at that BS that CNN aired on Friday. Let's put some 2A supporters on stage and throw them to the wolves of gun-ban activists. They let the left leaning speakers get away with outright lies and let the crowd try to intimidate the 2A supporters. The media bias is so strong that if you deny it, I wonder if you are just that blinded by your own bias.




As for the companies ending ties with the NRA....fine, that's their business decision. I don't do business with any of them anyway so it's not big deal to me. Besides, some other business will be happy to take the business of NRA members.



A last thought. If someone does manage to force through a ban on assault rifles, who's going to FORCE the owners to give them up? The leftists say they are against guns, so I assume they won't have any to use. So they'll have to sic the police on them, maybe even the military..........which goes to prove exactly why the Second Amendment was written in the first fucking place!

First off the Second Amendment was written when muskets were being fired. That is a long cry and years after your forefather's ever imagined assault rifles being held by civilians. If you are going to tell me that a law written in 1791 should carry such a heavy price today it is you along with the other fanatical NRA members that cannot be taken serious. You had 3 Local Sheriffs who were intimated and remained outside cowering behind their cruisers because of the assailants fire power instead of rushing in to subdue the shooter, WHY BECAUSE THEY KNEW they couldn't compete with the rapid fire.

The ban should include any rapid fire rifle and large hold magazine rounds period. Assault rifles are designed for one thing and that is heavy causalities period, not target shooting or hunting.

The second amendment was written before machine guns and other WMDs were invented. So what? In their minds, the citizenry should be as well armed as the military whether it was bows and arrows or any other devices. The point was, that the people should be able to stand up and fight against a government that becomes tyrannical.

Primo, following this logic you and Papa should have a button to launch a nuke since the US government has this capability. 2A is flawed and should be re-written. Maybe once Oprah takes the lead and bounces Trump's fat arse out we will see a change.

There may be some logical limits to the 2A.....we've mostly all accepted that automatic weapons, explosives and other weapons should remain in the hands of the military.......but the people baying for change now want to ban all guns other than a musket. You can go too far the other way too.
