Just thought I would send out a Happy Birthday Message to the greatest country in the world!

(With no disrespect to our American friends of course... you guys are OK too... )

Think I'll go for a 50 km ride this morning, have a kayak trip down the Grand with my kiddies this afternoon, a BBQ feast for dinner (natch!) and chill on the deck with Mrs. CG this evening... (amongst other things of course! )

Yay! Canada Day!

We can see the fireworks from the front balcony here, we have the best view of downtown all the way to the lake.

We will host a fireworks watching party! Afterward we will most likely head downtown for pints and merry making. Really looking forward to tonight!

Today is all prep for tomorrow...

We do a Family/Friends/Neighbourhood BBQ, Pool Party and fireworks thing every year.
Decided on Friday for some reason.

Went for my ride this morning, then for the kayak this afternoon... stopped at Mrs CG's bar on the way back for a quickie, and then home to prepare for the BBQ...
