Hahaha. My parents were so old school, they found my stash out in plain view on my desk and called the police. I couldn't believe it. They even said they were afraid to sleep and locked the door to their bedroom at night LOL. REEFER MADNESS!!!!!

My parents were so new school they kept it themselves and smoked it.

My parents worshiped the ground my younger brother walked on, and I was the black sheep of the family. I never told them that he was the one who got me started smoking pot when I was 17. They kicked me out the house for doing drugs while he continued to live with him.

I used to say that too, but I don't smoke or do drugs or even drink anymore. I think it's commendable to experience some of these things with your children but I also think that we (as parents) have to set an example. I don't want to be my kids' best friend necessarily but I do want them to be comfortable enough to talk to me about anything (which we do) and take my criticism for what it is and perhaps not as a parent but as a good example of a human being and productive member of society......before I go out for a session or tell them to get the fuck out of the house because I have an outcall coming at 10pm....

I've puffed in front of my dad a few times but he has no interest in giving it a whirl.
