Machu Picchu is heaven. Have to take the helicopter from Cusco to get there. An experience the family and I will never forget.

Agreed, it's an incredible place to visit. Did you go to the top of Wanya Picchu, and look down on Macchu Picchu from above? I wasn't lucky enough to take a helicopter (had to take the Hiram Bingham train instead) so I had to climb the massive mountain beside it (Wanya Picchu) but it was still breathtaking.

On another note, where are the pyramids on this list, and the monuments of Ancient Greece? I'm surprised the Acropolis didn't make the cut, or the statue of Zeus in Olympia... who writes this shit anyways? :happy:

Yes I did and it was fantastico. Had a hard time practising my Spanish with them though. LOL

I've seen Stonehenge and the Colisseum. And I also fucked Bobbi back in 2002. Does that count as #3?

What was the "cut-off" date? Cause how was "Leaning Tower of Pisa" put in the "Middle Ages", yet "The Great Wall of China" was also in "New wonders"?

This is a list of UN World Heritage sites.

{some are in Canada}

I bought HOF a pair of boxers at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. He claims they're too small, but I'm not convinced. :tongue:

The Colosseum was amazing....love old places like that, Italy was really cool that way.

I agree there are some incredible places not on the list.

There are a number of different lists of the seven wonders of the world:

The seven wonders of the ancient world.
Seven natural wonders of the world.
The new seven wonders of the world.
The modern wonders.

However, the original seven wonders of the world are the most worthy and appreciation as they were constructed in an era that was devoid of any building machinery and done mostly by hand.
