My mouse broke and I hate to deal with the laptop in-mouse. Late at night and I found one of my kid's wireless mouse. "Logitech".

How can I make it work in my laptop. Do I need to download it from the internet etc...Any help would be appeciated. I am just an old fashioned guy.

Thank you horners.

OK, I am just a prick but need help.

You probably need to download software.

Google "Logitech mouse driver" and you'll find several sites where you can download appropriate software.

Or just click here.

most of the time it will work without it but to make it does work just download the drivers from the logitech website.

^^^^ a lot of them now are bluetooth mice meaning they'll work without an adapter in the back of the laptop. I'd first check the bottom of the mouse to determine the model then look it up at logitech.com...they have a pretty good site for downloading step by step instructions......

If it's a wireless USB mouse you'll need the adapter to go into the usb port. Then it will most likely work automatically. MOst logitech products are plug and play.

Oh, you'll have to make sure it is charged if it has a cradle or the batteries are fresh if it doesn't.....

Thanks to all. One of my staff members just brought it to my house. He deserves the kiss ass of the year or the best employee of the year. I say he deserves a raise.

Good to see members helping each others.

Do I win kiss the ass of the year and get nominated for a free session
