Thanks, but this particular bulldog passed on a few years ago. As an active participant in several dog large breed rescue agencies, and with a mom who was a vet, I get to see the worst, who often become the best. I rescued two dogs (a mother and a pup) from a puppy mill just two months ago (paid to buy them off the breeder) and both are turning out magnificently.

Most bulldogs will do that. I've had about a half dozen over the years, and every one has slept with its tongue out (the tongue is longer than the mouth cavity). The trouble is the tongue then dries up and can actually crack.

Bulldogs are also well known for two other things: they snore worse than anything else, and they can fart up a storm. Even worse than Madman, according to Peace.
