It occurs to me that the hot and humid weather we're having might approximate the climate of the birthplace of my cigar stash. Would it be a good idea to take my humidor outside and leave it open for a few hours(in the shade of course)?

Btw, Arnoldo Alfonso is rolling at Sleuth & Statesman this week. Has anyone ever tried his stuff? Thinking of picking up a stick or three.

Which one's are your favourite,

I haven't had a decent cigar since my last trip to Cuba.

I hope they're real! Mostly from trips to Fidel-ville but I've ordered a few boxes from cigar-chief before.

I like Montecristo No. 2 and No. 4. But my favourite smoke is H. Upmann Regalia. It's a cheap petit corona. But I love the flavour and it's just the right size (about a 30 to 40 minute smoke).

You shouldn't. The fridge or freezer will dry them out.

I had a friend who insisted dipping his cigars in cognac added flavour. I tried it and I didn't notice any difference.

If you fill your humidifier with distilled water you shouldn't have to. Do open it once a day for a few minutes and don't forget to rotate your cigars daily.
