HEY why did my PM thread get locked up

I don't really care about that thread but I'm curious. Why do some threads get locked, what is the thinking of locking them as opposed to deleting them? I noticed telllikeitis was banned, is this because Papa (troublemakerDamn-Not too smart) asked or was it because he crossed the line?

What makes a good Mod? If a Mod position became available who would like to be nominated for the job or who would you nominate??

I nominate Cardinal Fang-he's a man of the cloth he has to be fair, doesn't he??
