It seems some people think that hobbying will have a negative effect on a relationship with a SO. Some people think that it could have a positive effect. Others appear to think that if you believe it does not have a negative effect you are fooling yourself.

The whole issue of cause and effect is interesting. If you believe (not that I do) that most hobbyists are a bit screwed up sexually or socially, it does not mean that hobbying caused this result. It is possible that such men are merely drawn to the hobby.

No need to generalize or shoehorn each into one label.

Brash and I are happy we hobby. Like Auggie said people are different. Different wants, needs, way of thinking,etc It a relationship, a honesty with each other.
