I find them useless as it takes 45 minutes for it to run. Plus You have to rinse them first before putting in it. So what's the purpose?.

My wife asks me why I don't want to buy her one or why I dislike them. I told her, I don't have a problem with them as long as somebody loads them and unloads them.

I am in the doghouse.

I love my dishwasher. I put it on a night before bed. Unload in the morning while making my coffee.

I have a small cabinet size. I think 18inches instead of 24. Cute little thing. I installed myself too, so there is a price factor.

Ya ya, this chick can do plumbing and electrical.

They work.....
But if you stick to paper, plastic and throw away pans you reduce your energy consumption 100 fold.

I handwash most of my dishes when it’s just me and my pup. But in instances when I have company over, I loooooove my dishwasher. I definitely count it as a luxury.

I am not surprised in the least that you know your way around the plumbing! :biggrin2:

I have a 4ft. tall mexican woman who looks after the important stuff like dish washing. Cute as a button, but sooooo serious. Dishes shine like the sun though! :biggrin2:

Ours hasn't been touched since we bought our new home 6 years ago. There isn't a need for it if you have four teenagers living at home.

So you say you rely on 'teenagers' to do your dishes, huh? I think you may need some time from the Cascade Kitchen Counselor. LOL!

I couldn't live without a dishwasher. Dishwasher design has perfected that the only variable is noise. All should be clean.
Loading: Use paper towels to wipe the residue into the green bin pail. Don't waste water. Yes you do have to fill that rinse aid liquid for best results. I run my DW in the middle of the night. They make half sized one's, but a full size is best, just buy another set of dishes.
FML I can't believe I writing about dishwashers what is supposed to be an escort review site.
PS Robin: Women don't do dishes any more.
