My wife is having a tea/coffee and cookies/biscuits get together with her friends this afternoon. Wakes me up and says she needs help washing and organizing things before the ladies come over.

I just spend almost 2 full hours of my life taking out the square glued white stickers and then the long black strips out of every mug (24) plus the sugar and milk ones. Then had to wash them to make sure there is no glue left.

I told her WTF next time tell the clerk to do it for you, what a waste of time (She is not talking to me now).

I understand they do it for theft reasons but I would never buy anything from them now.

Don't you think with today's technology there will be an easier was to combat theft?.

On another note: Which other stores use the same concept?.

Rant over and thanks for listening.

You're a good man to help your wife like that DC.

Perhaps karma will repay you by having all her friends show up in short skirts and skimpy summer tops.

:wink2:

Will post the pictures if they do :wink2:

I abhor the price stickers on HomeSense products too. I curse and probably stomp and thrash around when I'm trying to remove them. Acetone, Goo Gone, hot water soak.... Nothing seems to really work without the elbow grease. Kudos to you DonCorleo for triumphing over the stickers.

I still love the store though hehe.

WD-40 or nail polish remover will work

WD-30 smells better but it was not as good as WD-40

There are glue removers too......It is easier.....pay a couple of dollars and no problems...
