There are those who think of homeopathy or naturopathic medicine as pseudoscience having placebo effects and no biological plausibility. Some are virulent opposers, others believe it has it's place and rely on it as their only form of healing.
I believe that traditional medicine is meant to treat symptoms and treats in a one size fits all type of approach, but still has it's place. Homeopath seeks to understand the symptoms and heal the whole body, with an approach of finding a remedy that is unique to each individual. The only problem for many in Canada is traditional medicine is free, well, we pay for it through taxes, but when a doctor is seen it is at no cost at the time. When seeking other treatments, homeopathic or naturopathic, those can be expensive and are billed at the time of your visit/illness. So for those who rely on Homeopath/naturopath-no money-no treatment.
Are you pro or con homeopath, naturopath. Do you believe they should both be consulted when seeking medical care and why can't homeopath/naturopathic medicine be included in our medical plans?
I don't have any medical coverage, as I'm self employed . It is my understanding that naturopathic or homeopathic treatment costs can't even be used as a tax deduction....correct me if I'm wrong, thanks
