So whats everybody's take on whats happening in HONG KONG.

Personally, 1st, I feel sorry for them.

But they must understand that HONG KONG is now China, and that commie country is NOT going to allow HONG KONG to self govern, regardless what local political party is elected there.

Or what Trump and/or Mister Dress Up states, which what both of them have stated, is stupid, and also knowing the fragile ego of the commie mainland government, will only make thing worse.

We as a separate country with different ideals and ways of life should not be demanding that other countries march to our drummer. We also don't have to bend over backwards and take a high hard one to encourage business from these countries.
Our governments are way to blind to the damage that the trade deals they work on are having on our own economy. Then they want to change their country.

I have liked in HK and loved it, but it scares me now. I am back in SE Asia at least every other month, and HK is not a place I feel comfortable any more. The Chinese government will clamp down and hard. If I don't have to go there, I now detour through other airports such as Taiwan.

I'm a little surprised they haven't already. I feel sorry for the people, they are very brave but in the end China will prevail.

Now it looks like the China mainland idiot Commies are taking Muslim children away for "education".

Mind you, Muslim children don't have a say in their "education" either, but does not make the commies action right.

Hopefully this is a long way off for Hong Kong.
