I wonder about this I know some visit sps in thier homes and they are fine with it

but wonder if its better to be hosting incalls in a hotel , or private home.

Do men prefer incalls in hotels or homes?

I am considering going the hotel route but I will have to make sure I am able to cover my cost as I will not be seeing more then 3 clients each time I host.

Hotel!

Unless you want all your clients to know where you live? Including the ones who become obsessed with you!

Hotel cost would be about $100 (Craigslist)....3 clients at $250 = $750....about $650 profit

I wish those numbers were graunteed. I just have to take a huge leap of faith and see how it goes when I get my first hotel room.

I have hosted from a private home before. I didn't think anything of it because I thought I was doing everything right til I noticed some little things.

so now I am wondeirng if I should host in hotels only on my limited schedule and and hopefully it will be more beneficial for everyone. I would only get a hotel for a day no more then that and host maybe twice a week. I just hate packing and unpacking to host in a hotel, but it could be better then running to the laundry room all the time.

I prefer hotels myself because they work for all parties.
Fairly low maintenance, and nobody questions your business at a hotel.

I do know that some ladies have a separate 'love nest' to their residence, which is nice to have if you can afford it. Then you can keep everything stocked the way you like, and you won't have strangers knowing where you live.

I've been to a couple of incalls at the lady's "home" and it is weird. If she does it enough the neighbours know what she's up to and why you're there.....just an odd situation all around. I went to one on the danforth and her old geezer next door neighbour gave me the evil eye as I walked in.

Incalls at your home or your hotel are illegal I might add. If the hotel gets wind of what you're up to you could get a visit from LE. Some hotels don't allow late night visitors either and/or you need your room key to get up (never encountered this but have heard about this happening).

As for packing and unpacking, what really do you have to pack? Shower supplies (for you) street clothes to wear to and from the hotel and something nice to greet him at the door with. Oh and a toy box full of lubes, condoms etc. Just leave that one always packed and you're good to go.

What you should do is keep booking at the same hotel and subscribe to their Frequent FLyer program. Many offer stay 3 stay free. I used to book at days inn a LOT for business and had weeks of free hotel rooms (I'd pocket the freebie rooms for personal use, not business). I know one time I booked 4 rooms for my crew in Montreal and we got 3 free CD players so I held a draw for all the guys at the end of our stay. Or subscribe to something like aeroplan where you can get airmiles for hotel stays. Do it enough and you might get enough for a vacay somewhere.....

I've been to both types of incalls, home and hotels. From a pooners POV I don't mind either location but I agree the safer bet are probably the hotel route for both the client and the SP.

my old incall was a high rise building I was pretty comfortable in it I knew my neighbours and I knew thier habits. I know who walks thier dogs and what times.

It could have used a make over, now that I am considering returning I just wonder about the pros and cons of being in my own space or a hotel space. That would be the biggest fear of getting a hotel, and going in the whole, no shows I don`t understand I guess they think it`s all a joke meeting an sp.

outcalls were to hotels I find it better becuase I knew they were in town on business or trying to sneak away from thier wife or girlfriend it was more fun for me visiting a hotel, but as for me hosting I rather them come to me in my own space. I personally don`t like seeing more then 3 clients a day if it`s possible soemtimes I would see less.

it`s a bit hard you want to be proffesional, you want to have discreetion, but you also want to make a profit and not go home broke and barely able to keep business running.

I wouldn`t want to be in the same hotel all the time I would want to be in different hotels since Toronto has alot of them. and then determine my top 10.

outcall request don`t happen often enough. if they did I would happen visiting just hotels only.

Either way you decide to go Vanessa, let me know when and where!:666:

It doesn't make a difference to me if I see her in her home or a place she set up strictly for work.

Working out of your own home is more common than many people think, hotels eat a big chunk of your income. Hotels are the safest and most discreet way of doing business and it's easy to change locations but just a couple of no-shows could wipe out any profit.

You could try working in tandem with another girl, but that often has its own problems.

It sounds like your present set-up suits you, but you can experiment with a hotel for a day or two to see if that's a better fit. Good luck!

@macho man I rather by my own boss and control my business my way then have some agency tell me what I should or should not be and then take 60% of my money.

I think this time around I will go with hotels, as set rates where 2 or 3 clients a month is enough for me. I will just have to find other ways to keep myself busy.

Although I am not very familiar with this type of business but 60% sounds pretty steep.

From my understanding it was more around 40% for the major agencies, but I don't know which one Vanessa was with. I'm sure there are differences.

One thing that an SP could do is only book the hotel once they have their 2-3 clients pre-booked with a cancellation fee (within reason).
Also use hotwire or other similar sites for good hotel deals. I haven't used copycraigs myself but I hear they are pretty good.
