Steve, part of the 'dark side' of multiculturalism is seen daily, in my neighborhood. Teens emulate the "Degrassi Model", where everybody hooks up with everybody else, for at least one episode. I'm starting to see a lot of teenage Muslim girls, walking the streets with backpacks. Many are probably from first generation immigrant homes, where their parents have 'old country' values, and premarital chastity among their daughters is a matter of family honor. By 'western standards', they're good girls, maybe they've gone to 'second or third base', but to their male relatives, they're trash to be sent packing. They're not pure enough for a traditional home, but not impure enough to be a street walker, to 'earn' for a boyfriend with 'hip hop values'. These are among the many things no one seems to think or care about, when they fly the diversity flag.
