I am not sure if this is the right place to put this thread and if it isn't I apologize in advance.

My name is Julie. I am 31 years old and am recently divorced. The reason why I am writing is because recently I have begun to seriously consider becoming an escort. I enjoy sex and have some experience in swinging, so I figured why not make some money and meet new people. The problem is I have obviously never done this before and am really not sure where or how I would start. Do I join an agency or do I try it as an independent? So many other questions. :S

Does anyone know of any websites or threads on where I could go do some research on how to join the industry? Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Julie, I was 45 when I started working as a SP and didn't have a clue what to do either, so I worked at an agency for a year, then went independent. An agency will take care of licensing, advertising, pics and provide an incall or clients for you to see on outcalls (to their home/hotel).

Maybe one of the SP's who lives in the same city as you could tell you about the local by-laws, cause I'm from BC and things are different out here.

Thanks for the tips. I was thinking that it might be best to start with an agency. I was actually thinking of hiring a local SP to meet with me for an hour and give me some true info about the trade. LOL Just not sure if any of the SP would do that.

I can think of 2 that might help you!

Agency: Bonbons https://bonbonstoronto.com/ Charlize (owner) is a fantastic woman that if you were to go with an agency could/would be your best bet. Charlize is a former provider turned owner in Toronto and has done incredibly well in her short time. They are very professional and a great deal of fun. I chose Bonbons because a large amount of agencies cater to under 30 year old ladies but Bonbons has been known to mix it up quite well.

As for a independent provider, well there one that I know has helped others because someone helped her and she's a fan favourite throughout the industry. Sinful Sophia

When I went independent I read the book Amanda Brook's Internet Escort handbook, then I found other online information. and also a business coach for escorts - she had a workshop at Maggie's that really put some things in perspective for me. Then there is also the ebook package from Erin Myers but she took down her site probably because her info was being passed around her $800 package basically got around without people paying for it.

If you email me I can send you the ebooks I have for escorting. Also it would help to get connected with Maggie's as well.

Works the same for some first time clients. I've had a couple who arrived at the door really nervous, then admit they couldn't go through with it.

Well first of all thanks to all who have given me some recommendations.

I have been away on vacation and had limited time on the internet so sorry if it seems like I was not interested. With that said I am still doing my research and trying to educate myself as much as possible. I should also say that I am not in Toronto but another province, but I may be visiting Toronto in a couple of weeks!
