How do you feel about selfies used SPs that have civies in the background?

Basically had the title says.

Some ladies use selfies from public pics that they have taken, which happen to have civies in the pic as well. None of the ones I have seen have these civies blurred or disguised in anyway. These women usually show their face in their images.

I would have thought this was something frowned upon. The uproar for discretion is always high, yet these civies are being shown on BP, the red board and other sex sites. I have not seen any posted here on HUBGFE.

Is it consider a lack of professionalism to have these types of pics?

Would you be okay with being caught in the background of a SP promotional selfie? Do civies deserve a certain level of respect in this regard?

Curious as to the opinions of the crowd. So guys and gals, what are your thoughts on this?

My opinion is it’s none of my business how someone else chooses to promote themselves.
I personally get permission from anybody who I may share anything about at all before I do.

I hope I didn't come across as preachy or judging. While I agree, it is not my business, I do think we all have opinions on proper conduct. I think we all agree that using fake pics is a no-no. Even if it is none of our business.

I just question a selfie from a baseball game with a 10 year old kid in the background being used on the red board, and BP and was wondering the opinion of others.

I know I would be upset if it was my kid in the picture.

It's not right and if the other party knew i'm sure there would be a very big deal made about it.

Any kind or type of selfies should never include civies, in any profession. It's just not the right thing to do.

Presuming they've seen the thread you posted about this on the red board I'm curious if they had a change of heart and removed it? I only ask because I looked and couldn't find what you are mentioning.

She has not.

I find this is more from touring ladies. So not someone who I would think would read the lounge.

I'll PM you the link to what I am talking about.

I think this is just a plain simple case of a person using a device and not knowing or caring what the legal or moral ramifications are of using the device.
Quite simply put it is a tool in the hands of an idiot if they are posting pictures of people that have not given consent. Does not matter that they posted it on an adult site or on a bulletin board in a grocery store. They did not have permission to publish it. I hope they have a good lawyer.
As for publishing the picture with consent. I don't have a problem with that legally just the moral side of a child's picture on an adult site. I have a problem with that.

Maybe PM her? Sometimes people are careless or clueless :don'twantto-see:/

It would be common sense to not have anything or anyone identifiable in hobby related public photos.

I haven't actually seen this but its rather stupid... the person is't thinking about her own privacy or the other people in the picture.

I thought about it but I didn't want to seem imposing on her if I was the only one who felt it was off.

So I posted to see what others thought first.

She will probably go on the defensive and if a male tells her he's mansplaining and will be told to mind his own business.

This must be a tricky question.

Obviously, individuals are responsible for their actions.
