I am wondering, from a mans perspective, how important is a woman's career - as far as a woman you want to marry and/or be the mother of your children?

When I say career I'm thinking of factors like earning potential, hours at work, working from home vs working in office, type of career, etc.

It wasn't important to me when we were first married. We were young and both just starting out, no thought of kids or the future at that time. Years later it became increasingly more important as my wife's job grew into a career. I just wound up having a succession of "jobs". It was my wife's career that gave us the lifestyle we now enjoy more than anything I ever did.

Balance is the important thing in life.

One must find this to be on a true path.

This will be an interesting read, hopefully more men will add their input. Money is said to be one of the biggest dividers of a marriage......so who makes what is important.

I wish my wife had a career because the divorce would not cost me as much!

That's what I thought too when I saw this topic created.

As I said earlier...All things in balance....That is the path to happiness.

As long as the careers on both parties does not create friction in the relationship who cares who earns what!
People need to spend time to get to know one another before committing to a relationship.
Both parties need to be on solid ground mentally before bringing children into the relationship.
It is no surprise to see kids with poor to non-existent values and upbringing when the parents are unable to even look after themselves.

It doesn't matter what you do or where you do it from. Being a mother to children has the same reply. Just be comfortable and happy of who you are and all will come to you.

Think that in modern society it should be very important aspect. I don't support those women who just sit at home and are dependent from men all their lifes. Especially when there are such a lot of opportunities to start new career for free. after I have divorced, I had no money and even place to move. I thought that I will be poor and will live with my parents all my life. My sister recommended https://www.becomeopedia.com/ , and I were shocked that there are such a lot of possibilities to earn money and enjoy life during it)

men who are working to support himself and is able to make ends meet generally don't care about the careers, jobs and educational qualification that they are dating
